2008 in hindsight

The end of a year/beginning of a year is usually filled with lamentations and new year resolutions. I’m not a big believer in new year resolutions. I think it’s just a bunch of hot air and they never get accomplished in most cases anyway. I believe in making improvements all year round in small steps. i.e. “I’ll go to the gym tonight”, or “I’ll start a blog now”.

I’m not the most spontaneous person, but I hate procrastinating, so maybe I’m somewhere in between when it comes to making decisions. So the few ones that I’m quite proud of making this year:

1. Moving to Oz-land

2. Paying for a gym membership and trying out their classes

3. Starting a blog

So if I’ve achieved nothing else, I’m happy to know that I’ve made some good moves in 2008.
